Porsche Sport Cars speedART Boxster SP81-R

German tuner SpeedArt is the first company to release a tuning program for the brand new Porsche Boxster S (981), called Porsche Sport Cars speedART Boxster SP81-R. The Porsche Boxster is the car that saved Stuttgart from the brink when it was launched. Yet they have moved further than ever before with from the affordable and simple sportscar that it once was. Th 2012 model is lower, wider and much longer, and the Boxster S will reach 100 km/h in just 5 seconds despite only having just over 300 horsepower. The third generation Porsche Boxster has exited speedART's garage after it received a mild makeover and a small power boost.
Based on the Porsche Boxster (981), the model features an aerodynamic body kit with a front spoiler, revised side skirts, a rear diffuser and a prominent wing. Porsche Sport Cars speedART Boxster SP81-R can also be equipped with 20- and 21-inch LSC forged alloy wheels. The SP81-R Boxsters sit lower on their sport tuned suspensions, height adjustable absorbers and stiff coils. Still, an airlift suspension is also provided in other to tackle even the beefiest of speed humps.

This, combined with an ECU remap, has increased power of the 981 models by 20hp and 15lb-ft of torque. The brand new 981 Boxster's 2.7-liter flat-six thus manages 285hp and 221lb-ft of torque; while the Boxster S is good for 335hp and 281lb-ft. The sport exhaust with sound switch is developed for individual sound control and can be combined with various tailpipe designs including different ultra-light Titanium sport exhaust systems.
These have been designed for street and race track use and include an adjustable sport suspension and an airlift suspension. Inside a newly designed interior utilizes leather and Alcantara.

2013 Dodge Sports Car SRT GTS 477kW Viper

One of the most awaited and anticipated models of the 2012 New York Auto Show finally made its appearance. It’s the new generation Dodge Viper about which it was originally thought will no longer have a successor. The Americans couldn’t let one of the Chrysler Group’s iconic model to die and, along with the Italians from Fiat, they have given rise to the offspring that gets the Viper name and add before the SRT abbreviation – from the performance division of Dodge.

The fifth generation of the iconic two-seat, American-built supercar has been deliberately evolved to incorporate superior craftsmanship, a host of new technologies and ergonomic improvements while respecting its visceral legacy of outright performance. The all-new 2013 Dodge Sports Car SRT GTS 477kW Viper was unveiled at the 2012 New York International Auto Show, marking its highly anticipated return to the high-performance sports car market.
Speaking at the 2012 New York motor show Gilles told Drive it would cost almost $20 million dollars and require annual orders of at least 500 cars to justify relocating the steering wheel on the Viper.

For the 2013 model year, two new models of the iconic supercar will be hand built at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit - the home for Viper since 1995. Both SRT Viper and SRT Viper GTS models offer new interior and exterior designs incorporating premium materials and new exterior surfaces with aerodynamically functional details that are beautifully integrated into the high-tech carbon fiber and aluminum skin. On the inside, designers and engineers strived to rethink all touch points; and upgrade all material appointments and technologies. Compared with the old generation, the new 2013 Dodge Sports Car SRT GTS 477kW Viper adopts aluminum doors and roof, the boot door and hood being made from carbon fiber. All designed to reduce the total mass of the muscle car.

Dodge introduced at 2012 New York Auto Show a new generation for the SRT Viper supercar. The 2013 SRT Viper gets a 8.4-liter V10 engine, which can provide 640 brake-horsepower and a torque of 812 Nm. Wild V10-powered two-seater could be as quick as a Lamborghini. The Chrysler Group has revived its fastest and most revered sports car in the form of the SRT Viper. But don't expect the 8.4-litre V10 two-seater coupe to come to Australia as there are no plans to build it with the steering wheel on the right.

New 2013 Dodge Sports Car SRT GTS 477kW Viper V-10 Engine Offers More Power, More Torque, Less Weight. At the heart and soul of the 2013 SRT Viper is a hand-assembled 8.4-liter all-aluminum, V-10 engine. The iconic V-10 has been continuously upgraded over the years with improvements in oiling, airflow and an industry-first, single-cam variable-valve timing system. For 2013, the engine features a new ultra-high-flow, composite intake manifold for improved air distribution, new forged pistons, new lightweight, sodium-cooled exhaust valves and an aluminum flywheel. The engine also includes new exhaust catalysts to reduce backpressure. The result is a significant improvement of 40 lb.-ft. of torque and 40 horsepower with weight savings of more than 25 pounds for the fully dressed engine.

Coupled to the more powerful engine is a Tremec TR6060 six-speed transmission that has been refined with tighter gear ratios and a shifter with reduced throws to maximize driver involvement, while effectively transferring power to the pavement. Additionally, the final -drive ratio has been shortened to 3.55 from 3.07 giving the 2013 SRT Viper even more voracious and effortless acceleration at all speeds.
2013 Dodge Sports Car SRT GTS 477kW Viper

For 2013, all Viper models will feature traction control. To help maximize traction for straight-line performance, all Viper models also will include launch control as standard equipment. The new Viper is the fastest and sleekest yet, partly thanks to a new lightweight body with carbon fibre panels and aluminium doors that help reduce the overall weight by 45kg. Its aluminium V10 - 13kg lighter than the V10 used previously in the Dodge Viper - produces a massive 477kW of power and  813Nm of torque, the most of any naturally aspirated (non-turbo or supercharged) engine. Performance figures haven’t been released yet although the numbers suggest it should reach 100km/h in about three seconds. It would also be a safe bet that the latest Viper would exceed the last model’s 325km/h top speed.

2013 Porsche Sport Cars Prototype 918 Spyder

2013 Porsche Sport Cars Prototype 918 Spyder
Porsche will offer one of the world's first plug-in electric supercars in 2013. With two electric engines and a V8 based of their RS Spyder Le Mans prototype. Porsche has confirmed that the project is going according to plan and that the 918 Spyder will begin production in September of 2013, possibly after a showing at the Frankfurt motor show, with the first cars being delivered to owners before the year is out, although Australian buyers will miss out on the most extreme Porsche yet, as it will only be made in left-hand-drive.
2013 Porsche Sport cars Prototype 918 Spyder
The company has released pictures of prototype versions of the open-top petrol electric sports car that can sprint from 0-100km/h in less than three seconds, while sipping as little fuel as a Toyota Prius. Porsche says the 2013 Porsche Sportcars Prototype 918 Spyder will reach 200km/h in less than nine seconds before cracking 300km/h in less than 27 seconds. The complex hybrid drivetrain is primarily driven by a rear-mounted 4.6-litre V8 engine producing about 425kW of power. It’s teamed to a 90kW rear-mounted electric motor and a single 80kW front-mounted electric motor, giving it four-wheel drive. Porsche says the maximum total output is 575kW, while the torque output is rated at more than 750Nm. Porsche said that when it’s all said and done, the 918 Spyder should pump out 770-hp with a 0 to 62 mph time of 3.2 seconds with a top speed of more than 200 mph. Fuel-economy should come in around 3 liters/100km or 78.4 mpg US.
2013 Porsche Sport cars Prototype 918 Spyder
2013 Porsche Sport cars Prototype 918 Spyder “Race Hybrid” is the mode for the highest possible performance and especially sporty dri -ving style. The combustion engine is chiefly used under high load, and charges the battery when the driver is not utilising the maximum output. The electric motors provide additional support as necessary in the form of a boost when the driver requires even more power. The electric motors are used up to the maximum power output limit in order to provide the best possible performance for the race track. In this mode, the battery charge state is not kept constant, but instead fluctuates across the entire charge range. In contrast to Sport Hybrid mode, the electric motors run at their maximum power output limits for a short time, thus ensuring better boosting. This increased output is balanced out by the combustion engine charging the battery more powerfully.
The main source of propulsion is the 4.6-litre, eight cylinder engine delivering more than 570 hp of power, which was directly derived from the power unit in the successful RS Spyder and explains why it delivers engine speeds of up to 9,000 rpm. Like the RS Spyder’s racing engine, the 918 Spyder power unit features dry-sump lubrication with a separate oil tank and oil extraction. In order to save weight, the four extraction pumps are made of plastic. Further extensive lightweight design measures resulted in.
2013 Porsche Sport cars Prototype 918 Spyder
The 2013 Porsche Sportcars Prototype 918 Spyder’s multi-link chassis is inspired by racing car construction, comple -mented by additional systems such as the adaptive shock-absorber system PASM and rear-axle steering. Basically, this comprises an electro-mechanical adjustment system on each rear wheel. The adjustment is speed-sensitive and executes steering angles of a few degrees in each direction. The rear axle can therefore be steered in the same direction or the opposite direction to the front wheels. At low speeds, the system steers the rear wheels in the opposite direction to the front wheels. This makes cornering even more direct, faster and more precise, and reduces the turning circle. At higher speeds, the system steers the rear wheels in the same direction as the front wheels. This minimises the “pushing” of the vehicle’s rear end when changing lanes quickly. The result is very secure and stable handling. The exhaust system is racing car inspired, with short muffler pipes that come out of the top of the car’s rear end, next to the engine. The seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission has been fitted upside-down to lower the 1700kg car’s centre of gravity. It also has rear-axle steering for better control through slow corners.
All that technology is expected to come at a price, though. Estimates suggest the 2013 Porsche Sportcars Prototype 918 Spyder could cost upwards of $750,000. As to be expected, the plug-in hybrid sports car will command a princely price tag, which Porsche has indicated will start at $845,000.

2013 Lamborghini Sports Cars Ferruccio Concept

2013 Lamborghini Sports Cars Ferruccio Concept

In 1963, Ferruccio Lamborghini initiated the company with the intent of creating supercars to compete with models from Ferrari. Now, as a celebration of this event 50th anniversary of the well-known Italian sports car brand Lamborghini in 2013, Ferruccio Lamborghini as an homage to, a transportation design student at Staffordshire university Mark Hostler, has designed the futuristic super sports carconcept – 2013 Lamborghini Sports Cars Ferruccio Concept
2013 Lamborghini Sports Cars Ferruccio Concept

Actually this concept is part of his course assignment and it is a great blend of past and future designs of Lamborghini. Mark Hostler of Staffordshire University in England has created a concept car in tribute to Lamborghini's 50th anniversary next year. The transportation design student created his Ferruccio concept to directly compete against Lamborghini's Italian rival's legendary Ferrari Enzo. The super-aggressive 2013 Lamborghini Sports Cars Ferruccio Concept takes its cues from the lineup of V12s the Italian supercar maker has produced over the years.

2013 Lamborghini Sports Cars Ferruccio Concept

As per the designer, the concept is "a car that takes inspiration from the company’s lineage, and also showcases the current design language and innovations of the company in their trademark flamboyant style." The concept’s front end, bonnet, and super-wide rear end were inspired by the Countach. The front and rear wings were inspired by the Miura, while the sharp nose and mirrors, and aggressive air intakes across the body and roof take their inspiration from the current Lamborghini design language.
2013 Lamborghini Sports Cars Ferruccio Concept
"The 2013 Lamborghini Sports Cars Ferruccio Concept is a car designed to showcase both the past and future of Lamborghini, showing how new design and technologies blend seamlessly with the company's rich heritage and history," said Hostler of his creation. The technological aspect comes in the form of efficient parts and pieces. Motivation comes in the form of a more fuel-efficient 5.0-liter V12 complete with direct injection, camless valve system and 'several turbochargers.'
2013 Lamborghini Sports Cars Ferruccio Concept

Lamborghini Ferruccio utilizes both aggressive styling and engineering. The style of it is quite similar to a jet fighter. The designer knows very well that Lamborghini has to fulfill the strict emission regulation therefore he developed a power plant that helps the car to retain its V12 while also work as an environment friendly machine. Fuel consumption will be reduced to a great extent with the mean of direct injection and a computer controlled camless valve system.
The concept was designed to use a small 5.0 liter V12 engine with two turbochargers and feature direct injection technology. 2013 Lamborghini Sports Cars Ferruccio Concept is able to develop about 600 hp power output and 650 Nm of torque since it’s powered by a five-liter V12 dual-turbocharged engine with direct injection technology.

The new 427 Convertible Collector Edition is powered by an LS7 engine that delivers a total of 505 HP and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. It sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and can hit a top speed of 190 mph.

Like other exotic brands such as Ferrari, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini appeals for unique styling, rarity, and snob appeal, plus vaunted Italian high-performance brio. Buyers in this class aren't much concerned with value, practicality, reliability, or durability, though we now tend to take those attributes for granted in even the most plebeian cars.

Several sources believe the 2013 Lamborghini Sport Cars Estoque New Version will end up being based on the lightweight aluminum architecture from parent Audi's next-generation A8 premium large sedan, which is due in Europe during 2010 and expected in the U.S. as a 2011 model. There's also talk of 2013 Lamborghini Sport Cars Estoque New Version using a unique "blended" platform combining aluminum and carbon-fiber elements. The goal in either case is to minimize weight and thus maximize acceleration, fuel economy, and emissions performance for what will be a pretty big car.

The same considerations will dictate powertrain choices. In theory, the 2013 Lamborghini Sport Cars Estoque New Version could be designed to use any and all suitable engines in the Audi arsenal. That could mean a 4.2-liter gasoline V8, a twin-turbo version of same, and even V6 and/or V10 turbodiesels. VW/Audi is also working up a gas/electric hybrid powertrain, and however implausible that might sound for a Lamborghini, it is another option according to Maurizio Reggiani, the company's director of Research and Development Technology.

A sedan sport it may be, but the 2013 Lamborghini Sport Cars Estoque New Version should have all the technical hallmarks expected of this brand. That means all-independent double-wishbone suspension, big 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, an Audi-sourced antiskid and traction-control system, and a full complement of airbags. Materials, fit and finish, and features will be first class to match the lofty price and, as on other current Lambos, will be a far cry from pre-Audi days. Though specifics are still far from decided, the goodies list would likely show 20- and/or 21-inch wheels with high-speed tires, a voice-controlled disc-drive navigation system with music storage and wireless-device connections, and a version of Audi's Drive Select system that allows tailoring suspension, steering, and throttle responses through several driver-selected modes.

The transmission type is 6-speed auto-manual transmission with shift paddles on the steering wheel.
