Ford has updated crossover Lincoln MKX

On the Detroit motor show the premiere updated Lincoln MKX has taken place. By 2011 modelling year the luxury crossover was received by a fresh ex-terrier with the lattice of a radiator divided in two and in a new fashion issued exhaust pipes.

In salon the innovative system of intuitive management by various equipment Lincoln MyTouch for the first time is applied. It consists of three touch screens and two multipurpose keys located on a wheel; the system also understands a human voice.

Updated Lincoln MKX will receive 3,7-l V6 power of 305HP, which on 15% became more economic than the predecessor. It is expected, that crossover sales in the USA start in the summer of 2010.

Company Jaguar prepares competitor Audi TT

Company management Jaguar has approved working out and start in a batch production of the compact sports car which, predictably, will receive name C-Type, will take in a modelling number a place on a step more low XK and will make a competition to cars Audi TT and BMW Z4. On it informs edition Inside Line referring to not named source familiar with the future ruler of the British manufacturer.

New double sport car Jaguar will be constructed on the basis of the aluminium monocook and begins to be issued with bodies "coupe" and "roadster" with a soft developing roof. It is expected, that the car will receive absolutely new 6-cylinder petrol engine constructed on the basis of 5-l engine. According to some information, in an atmospheric variant the motor will develop 275HP, and in the version with a mechanical supercharger or the turbine — about 350HP. Subsequently such unit begins to be offered and for sedan XF, coupe XK and, probably, leader XJ.

Also it is not excluded, that then will appear and the "charged" version R equipped with the 510-strong eight-cylinder engine in volume five litres with a mechanical supercharger. It is expected, that С-Type it will be presented next year.

Hearings about occurrence new coupe Jaguar appeared repeatedly. Also it was supposed, that the company can make the two-door version of model XJ, however sources Inside Line have informed, that such possibility was never discussed by a management of a motor-car manufacturer.
